The Senior Director of Logistics & Distribution is a critical enterprise leadership role within the Supply Chain organization, responsible for the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of Campbell’s finished‑goods distribution network. This role has end‑to‑end accountability for all company‑operated and third‑party distribution centers across the Meals & Beverages (M&B) and Snacks divisions, encompassing approximately 40 locations.
Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Logistics & Transportation, the Sr. Director will shape enterprise distribution strategy, drive breakthrough cost savings, elevate service performance, and lead complex internal and external partnerships. This role requires strong executive influence, financial stewardship, and the ability to lead transformation at scale across a highly complex, regulated, and seasonal operating environment.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy & Leadership
- Own and execute the enterprise distribution and fulfillment strategy for finished goods across M&B and Snacks, ensuring alignment with broader Supply Chain and business strategies.
- Translate strategy into network design, operating models, and execution priorities, balancing cost, service, capacity, and risk.
- Set direction for the enterprise warehouse and distribution network and validate performance through internal and external benchmarking on core KPIs.
- Lead innovation in productivity, asset utilization, and customer fulfillment solutions, including large‑scale transformation initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Provide executive oversight of the Campbell Logistics organization and strategic 3PL partners, across both owned and outsourced operating models.
- Drive identification, standardization, and enterprise reapplication of best practices across processes, analytics, service models, sustainability, and ways of working.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational discipline across internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure consistent execution excellence across a geographically dispersed, multi‑node network.
Financial Stewardship & Governance
- Lead enterprise cost‑savings initiatives across the distribution network, with direct accountability for delivering financial commitments.
- Own development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Logistics and Distribution, including ongoing forecasting, performance management, and corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, SOX requirements, and revenue recognition, demonstrating strong governance and enterprise risk management.
- Partner closely with Finance and Supply Chain leadership on capital planning, productivity investments, and long‑range cost strategies.
Talent & Capability Development
- Lead enterprise talent strategy for the Logistics organization, including leadership development, succession planning, and capability building.
- Develop organizational strength in problem solving, analytics, and complex project leadership, not just day‑to‑day execution.
- Champion a continuous improvement culture, shaping behaviors and expectations across the Logistics organization and extended network.
Who you will work with…
- Reports directly to the VP, Enterprise Logistics & Transportation
- Works closely with Supply Chain LT, Operations, Finance, Transformation, IT, Commercial partners, and senior leaders across M&B and Snacks
- Represents the organization with strategic 3PL and external partners at an executive level
What you bring to the table… (Must Have)
- Proven track record of enterprise leadership, executive influence, and delivery of complex, multi‑site programs.
- Demonstrated success driving strategic execution and continuous improvement in large‑scale, complex supply chain environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in warehousing and logistics operations, including 3PL strategy and management.
- Experience operating in regulated, food‑grade environments and highly seasonal or variable volume businesses.
- Strong systems experience, including SAP, JDA, Power BI, and Microsoft 365, with a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
Preferred
- MBA or Master’s degree.
- Experience leading logistics or distribution transformations at an enterprise or multi‑division level.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$188,200-$270,600Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
