Job Description
The Watchcare Leader supports the New Member Ministry by welcoming and connecting individuals who are temporarily affiliated with the church. This role helps ensure watchcare members feel included, informed, and engaged in fellowship and ministry during their time at the church.

Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 1-2 hours a weekly or biweekly
2. Participating in meetings/training: as requested
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for watchcare members within the New Member Ministry.
- Coordinate official welcome moments and recognition to ensure watchcare members feel acknowledged and included.
- Introduce watchcare members to church culture, ministries, and opportunities for connection.
- Encourage participation in fellowship activities, Bible studies, and church events.
- Connect watchcare members to appropriate ministry service opportunities as permitted.
- Promote meaningful relationships by linking watchcare members with small groups or ministry teams.
- Maintain regular check-ins to ensure watchcare members remain informed, connected, and supported.
- Share church updates, resources, and spiritual encouragement.
- Identify questions, needs, or concerns and relay them to appropriate ministry leadership when necessary.
- Track watchcare member participation and status during their time at the church.
- Support a smooth transition when watchcare members return to their home church or relocate.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and alignment with New Member Ministry processes.
