Job Description

Summary

The Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers products.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Review process, product and identify the new technology, new component, new process. Then provide a solution and development for the new component/ new process/ new technology for PCBA

  • Generate the library history of stencil design and PCBA for traceability

  • Work closely with the design team, customers, supplier, and CTH internal team.

  • Design tooling and develop the process to support the new technology or new process of PCBA assembly.

  • Work with CFT and customer on NPI development, process validation with FA lab technique to make successful transfer from NPI to mass production.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. 
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Typical Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor degree of Engineering or equivalent of Electronics/Electrical, Telecommunication, computer or related fields.
