As a Farmers agency owner, you’ll have access to a wide range of insurance and financial products—including Auto, Home, Umbrella, Specialty, Life, and Business Insurance—allowing you to serve diverse clients while building both new and renewal income.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Requirements
**Requirements**
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a **Property & Casualty** license.
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a **Life & Health** license.
- If you do not currently hold these licenses, we sponsor the pre‑licensing courses needed to obtain them.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated with an interest in long‑term career growth and business ownership.
- Ability to follow a structured sales process and maintain consistent outreach.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn Farmers systems and products.
Responsibilities
**Client Engagement & Sales Development**
- Build relationships with prospective and existing clients through outreach, networking, and follow‑up.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products across Farmers’ broad portfolio.
- Educate clients on coverage options, policy details, and risk management solutions.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of leads and follow a structured sales process.
**Business Development & Growth**
- Participate in marketing activities, community events, and local networking to increase brand visibility.
- Develop strategies to grow your book of business and expand your client base.
- Track performance metrics and adjust sales approaches to meet goals.
**Training & Professional Development**
- Complete required licensing, onboarding, and Farmers training programs.
- Engage in ongoing coaching and mentorship designed to prepare you for agency ownership.
- Learn operational, financial, and leadership skills essential for running a successful agency.
**Operational Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with Farmers’ standards.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, client interactions, and follow‑ups.
- Support daily office operations as you learn the full scope of agency management.
**Path to Agency Ownership**
- Demonstrate consistent performance and leadership qualities aligned with Farmers’ agency owner expectations.
- Participate in Farmers’ Retail Agency Program milestones designed to transition you from sales to full business ownership.
- Prepare to manage your own agency, including staffing, budgeting, marketing, and long‑term growth planning.
