KRHS Long Term Substitute Teacher - Mathematics

Kingswood Regional High School is seeking a long term substitute Mathematics teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics and/or experience teaching Algebra and Geometry, with a preference for those holding certification in Secondary Education. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a positive impact on the lives of high school students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary initiatives and student success.
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
- NH Educator Certification will qualify candidates for premium substitute teacher pay.
- Prior experience teaching high school and/or in related subject matter is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and effective classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
