A position as a full-time, 12-month Day Custodian is available at East High School beginning as soon as possible. This position works from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. 

Summary of Duties:
General cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and hallways. Clean and setup of Commons Area for breakfast and lunch. Some light maintenance work. Assisting in event set-up and tear-downs. Snow removal from entryways. Lifting and moving furniture, boxes and other equipment.

Qualifications Required:
 

• Understand and carry out both written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures, equipment and cleaning products.
• Maintain work schedules in the performance of cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships and harmony within the workplace.
• Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs.
• Stand and walk for 7-8 hours per day.
• General cleaning knowledge.
   

Rate of Pay:
$19.92 - $20.45
