Waitress/Food Attendant

As a Waitress / Food Attendant at Plaza Provisions, you will serve as a key part of the guest experience—delivering attentive, personalized service within our vibrant food hall environment. You will guide guests through a variety of culinary offerings, provide thoughtful recommendations, and ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has a genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming and engaging first impression 
• Present menus and explain offerings from multiple vendor kitchens with confidence and clarity 
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, and daily specials 
• Accurately take and enter orders using the Toast POS system 
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards 
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations 
• Process payments accurately, including handling cash and completing end-of-shift procedures 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service flow 
• Uphold Plaza Provisions’ service standards and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture 
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local regulations 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment preferred 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset 
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 
• Basic knowledge of food, craft beverages, and menu offerings preferred 
• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Must obtain any required local or state certifications (e.g., alcohol service permits) 
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time 
• Ability to carry trays and lift up to 25 pounds 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

Compensation

• $10 + tips 
• Additional earning potential through tips
