What role you will play in our team

Responsible for planning, coordinating, for the import of finished lubricants and optimizing the deployment of inventory at Singapore to meet customer demand efficiently while minimizing costs and ensuring high service levels.

 

1. Coordinate, communicate, align

• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of imported finished lubricntss

• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve supply issues, schedule changes,and cancellations

• Monitor and communicate inventory status, supplier performance, and key supply chain metrics

 

2. Plan and execute imported finished lubricnts supply process

• Develop and maintain accurate imported finished lubricnts inventory plans aligned with production schedules

• Manage and mitigate imported finished lubricnts supply disruptions (planned or unplanned)

• Drive supplier business continuity plan and ensure robustness

• Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and adjust plans to prevent shortages or excess stock

• Monitor and adjust for production volume, demand, and purchasing trends to forecast material requirements

• Generate and adjust purchase orders in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring materials meet quality and specification standards

• Utilize designated systems to maintain up-to-date data and optimize inventory management

• Drive and execute imported finished lubricnts inventory accuracy processes

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs for imported finished lubricntss

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsrelated to material handling.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics)

• 3-5 years of experience post-secondary school graduation in supply chain or manufacturing positions

• Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas)

• Understand Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supply & Demand Principles

• Proficient in SAP Systems and MS Excel knowledge is critical

• Strong command of written and spoken English

• Function effectively in a team environment, including virtual environments is critical

• Strong background in statistics and/or analytics

• Strong judgment, including ability to make quality decisions

• Strong persuasion / communication skills / influence without direct authority

• Experience in supply planning roles in Chemical, FMCG, CPG, Manufacturing, E -Commerce preferred

• Experienced in petrochemical production/manufacturing process preferred

• Experienced in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes

• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision

• Customer oriented mindset and focus

• Effectively interface with internal functions and external parties

• Experienced in conducting analyses and providing recommendations for supply planning problems using

• SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis

• Tableau and/or Power Bl for visualization, Power Query and Excel

• Knowledge of R and/or Python for scripting is preferred

• Strong performer with ability to prioritize work strategically and independently while also functioning well within a global, virtual team

• Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Experienced in project management and complex coordination

• Experienced in supplier management or with petrochemical manufacturing background

• Experienced in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes

• Perseverant and resilient in the pursuit of objectives; willing to take on new challenges

• Improve mindset; able to anticipate future opportunities and adept at evaluating new opportunities objectively

• Strong project management skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including conceptual capabilities
