Title: Material Service Operator
Required Shift:
12 Hour Rotating Shift
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Job Purpose:
The scope of the Material Service Operator is to handle all raw/packaging materials from receiving to the pouring of the ingredients into bins (this includes both fine meals and liquids.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
Must meet time in role (12+ months. Internal Associates Only.)
Must have approval from line manager to apply (Internal Associates Only.)
Must currently be in good standing (Internal Associates Only.)
High school diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
Forklift operation experience
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces
Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
Ability to read, write and speak English
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certifications
2+ years of experience operating and maintaining high-speed production machinery in a manufacturing/production environment
Computer software experience (Example: SAP, Inventory Systems)
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
Manufacturing Production focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment.
Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.
Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
Operate a pallet jack to move pallets of combos to multiple locations on the line.
Conducting end-of-run counts on raw materials and month-end inventories.
Participate and adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs ensuring that all standards are met.
