Qualifications for Regional Security Training Specialist
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in security operations or a related field.
- Proven subject matter expertise in operational security environments, beyond classroom-only or instructional design experience.
- Proven experience as a Training Specialist, with a strong foundation in adult learning principles, learner engagement, and classroom facilitation.
- Strong knowledge of physical security operations, incident response, emergency procedures, and use-of-force principles.
- Proven experience delivering scenario-based, hands-on training in both classroom and practical environments.
- Strong foundation in adult learning, classroom facilitation, and learner engagement.
- Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and operational experience levels.
- Experience evaluating learner performance through practical assessments, coaching, and competency validation.
- Ability to balance classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and real-world simulations.
- Ability to demonstrate defensive tactics, physical intervention, and control techniques.
- Background in martial arts, combatives, or use-of-force instruction considered a strong asset.
- High level of physical fitness with the ability to safely demonstrate techniques.
- Ability to provide proof of operational and instructor certifications.
- Must be available for a full-time training commitment.
