Job Description

You're all about the detail and this role will allow you to drive evidence-based decision making to optimise systems and efficiency, not just for the business but for our customers too. It's data and research with impact you can see. In this role, you'll: Collect, record and maintain accurate and reliable WH&S data relating to workplace incidents, near misses and hazards across Transport. Analyse WH&S reports, statistics and datasets to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for continuous safety improvement. Use Power BI as an essential tool to develop, maintain and enhance WH&S dashboards and visualisations, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and meaningful insights. Prepare clear, professional reports, dashboards and presentations that communicate WH&S performance, incident trends and recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders. Contribute to the development and delivery of regular and ad hoc WH&S reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual reports and mandatory submissions to external regulatory bodies. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the provision of expert advice on WH&S reporting and performance. Assist in improving WH&S reporting practices and frameworks to align with Transport’s safety strategy and organisational objectives. You bring a structured and analytical approach to collecting, documenting and managing WH&S information, ensuring data integrity and accuracy at all times. You are confident in analysing WH&S data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement, and you use these insights to support informed decision‑making. With clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you contribute to the preparation of high‑quality reports and communications that demonstrate WH&S performance across Transport and support continuous improvement in safety outcomes.
