Job Description

Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers focused on developing and growing client relationships within the emerging enterprise segment, specifically targeting the agricultural sector in Malaysia. Drive strategic initiatives to expand market share, enhance customer experience, and ensure robust portfolio management, contributing significantly to the bank's overall growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business targets for the emerging enterprise farmer segment, including revenue growth, loan book expansion, and deposit mobilization.
* Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Relationship Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective client acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
* Oversee the end-to-end client journey, from prospecting and onboarding to ongoing relationship management, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with product development teams to identify and introduce innovative financial solutions tailored to the specific needs of farmers and agricultural businesses.
* Conduct regular portfolio reviews, managing credit risk effectively and ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the agricultural sector to identify new business opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
* Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and cultivate strategic partnerships.
* Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team of relationship managers.
* Proven track record of success in business development and client relationship management within the SME or emerging enterprise segment, with a strong understanding of the agricultural sector in Malaysia.
* Deep knowledge of financial products and services relevant to agricultural businesses, including lending, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
* Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles within the banking industry.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Command of other local dialects is an advantage.
