The North Plainfield School District, a culturally diverse school district in Somerset County serving 3,700 students Pre-K through grade 12, seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic, innovative and Bilingual (English and Spanish) literate professional for the position of Elementary School Dual Language Teacher.
For those still in the process of attaining certification, please know that the North Plainfield District is approved for participation in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program which may allow you to work in a full time role as you complete your final certification requirement.
Qualifications Include:
- Elementary Teacher Certification K - 6 or P-3 required
- Bilingual/Bicultural Endorsement (can be working or willing to work towards this endorsement)
- Fluent Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Responsibilities Include:
- Teach content areas in English and Spanish
- Advocate of multilingual learners
- Ability to analyze student data to drive instructional decisions and support student growth.
- Collaborative mindset � Ability to co-teach and work effectively with colleagues to support student success. Instructional expertise
- Proficiency in lesson planning, behavior management, curriculum development, assessment, and the use of diverse educational resources.
- Growth mindset- Commitment to ongoing professional development and instructional improvement.
Salary: $69,765 (minimum) to $103,470 (maximum) commensurate with experience
