Coordinate with other departments or external contractors to schedule maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of projects.
Diagnose complex problems with equipment or systems and develop effective solutions to address issues efficiently.
Provide technical expertise and training to maintenance team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
Monitor and control maintenance expenses within budgetary constraints, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices to improve overall operational efficiency.
Assist with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and training programs for maintenance team members.
Assist with emergency response efforts and provide support during equipment breakdowns or facility-related emergencies.
Ensure shift reports are maintained and properly filled out.
Ensure that proper hand off between shifts is conducted daily/nightly.
