Oversight of the ISO 9001 certification and related auditing of facility processes
Drive lab safety and process compliance
Initiative to drive trouble shooting and root cause analysis (RCS’s) for both internal and supplier issues
Linking corrective actions to process development
Helping build and maintain work instructions while improving process controls
Learn plant processes and support auditing against control plans and work instructions
Supporting lab tech training and development amongst peers
Support improvement projects tied to the lab and supplier quality
Manage lab supplies and consumables
Coordination with suppliers on PM’s and repairs of lab equipment
Have a proficient knowledge with lab equipment and processes
Back up Recipe/Material Management in SAP and Blend system
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
