
Sr. Director of Project Management - NPI
Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Sr. Director of NPI Program Management is a senior leadership role responsible for driving execution discipline across complex, cross-functional technology and product programs.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of IT and PMO, this position will be a key member of the operations leadership team, partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Executive management to align technology investments with business growth objectives.
This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategic vision and hands-on execution in a fast-moving, innovation-driven semiconductor environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Program Management Office (PMO)
- Build, lead, and continuously mature the PMO function, establishing standards, processes, and governance frameworks for program and project execution across the company.
- Drive program management for Navitas' new high-power GaN and SiC product development and qualification programs targeting High Performance Compute, AI infrastructure, grid energy, and industrial electrification markets — coordinating across engineering, product, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
- Lead execution of complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives including ERP deployments, new technology enablement programs, AI agent rollouts, and digital transformation projects.
- Establish visibility and accountability through rigorous program tracking, milestone management, risk identification, and executive-level reporting.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of project and program managers.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive PM leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior I{M leadership role in a technology-intensive or semiconductor/electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience building or leading a formal PMO function, with strong command of program and project management methodologies (PMP, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Strong background in AI/ML tool deployment and intelligent automation within enterprise environments.
- Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
