Contract Lifecycle Management Contract Manager:

The Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Contract Manager will join the Global CLM Organization, which aims to simplify, digitize, and standardize contracting across the enterprise. The Contract Manager will oversee operations of the Global CLM team executing contract lifecycle management tasks, focusing on contracts requiring English language support. Key responsibilities reviewing contract drafts, guiding the team through the approval and execution process, and managing reporting and escalations in collaboration with CLM leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of McDonald’s Enterprise Legal operations, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, and lead with clarity and confidence in a fast-paced, evolving environment while effectively managing and developing a growing team.
Duties
- Oversee the completion and quality of contract drafting, ensuring initial drafts prepared by Global CLM Paralegals meet requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information, redirecting complex or specialized requests appropriately.
- Manage timely contract approvals and execution, providing guidance and support to Paralegals and Legal Assistants throughout the process.
- Escalate complex contracting risks and issues to the CLM Senior Manager for resolution.
- Consolidate and analyze contracting status and key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering updates to the CLM Senior Manager.
Qualifications
- Skills Required:
- ICERTIS, CLM, Contract Life Cycle Management, Legal, Legal Training, Legal Practice, Legal Administration.
- Experience Range:
- 6 - 10 years.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of legal training.
- Experience managing Icertis or similar CLM tool.
- Minimum 5-7 years of managing paralegals and/or legal assistants in corporate settings preferred.
- Proven ability to lead contracting teams and effectively communicate risks.
- Fluency in English, notably in legal environments.
