Job Description

Department Overview

The Reporting Architect (RA) works with the business sponsors / users in helping to define new initiatives that require application/technical support. The RA reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation and architecture of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Develops dashboards, reports based on business requirements with analytics and insights. The RA identifies reporting best practices and develops standards to streamline business operations. 

Duties

The role expects the resource to perform the following functions.

  • Establish reporting standards and best practices.
  • Create solutions to optimize reporting processes.
  • Identify and implement reporting automation.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept designs to explore options.
  • Assess current tools and designs.
  • Create roadmaps for migrating existing solutions to a unified standard.
  • Design training programs and materials to educate users on the reporting platform, boosting adoption and productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in EPP departments to understand their needs and ensure reporting aligns with their goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on reporting performance, benefits, and ROI.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications in Computer / Business / Data Science / Engineering / Math.
  • 5+ years’ experience in data reporting and dashboard development.
  • Deep skills in at least one data visualization / reporting tool (e.g. PowerBI).
  • Understanding of how to use Power Automate or other automation tools.
  • Experience in integration with data sources such as REST or databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of industry-standard tools, software solutions, and technology trends.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, change management, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of the organization.
