We are hiring a Specialist, Accounting Operations, to support lease expense activities across multiple regions. This entry-level role is part of the Market Finance team and reports to the Supervisor, Accounting Operations. The Specialist will help maintain accurate lease expense records, assist with financial reporting, and support day-to-day transaction processing. They’ll work closely with internal systems and teams to ensure data accuracy and timely execution of tasks.

The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India.

Duties

  • Perform routine lease transaction activities, including scheduling and processing lease payments.
  • Prepare basic expense reports and summaries using standard templates for internal teams.
  • Assist with maintaining general ledger (GL) information related to lease payments.
  • Review and process lease expense contracts, escalating questions or issues as needed.
  • Support day-to-day coordination with cross Functional teams during regular operations and month end close.
  • Help track workload and volumes and provide support during peak periods.
  • Identify and report system issues or errors and assist with testing system enhancements as directed.
  • Escalate issues or discrepancies to the Supervisor following established procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CPA or equivalent are a plus. 
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance operations. 
  • English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and lease accounting standards. 
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with IBM TRIRIGA or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams.
