As we launch our new facility in Mesquite, Texas, we are looking for new talents to support our operations and contribute to the success of our new facility.

To support this growth, we are seeking an Electromechanic to play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our equipment and facilities.

The Electromechanic is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role supports safe and efficient operations by following established maintenance systems and processes aligned with business objectives. The incumbent performs both scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery and plant systems, with the goal of optimizing equipment reliability and overall plant performance. They also read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and work orders to carry out maintenance and service tasks effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair factory and building production equipment, both electrical and mechanical.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and provide solutions to technical problems.

  • Perform periodic inspections of tools and equipment and make the required adjustments to ensure their proper functioning.

  • Contact suppliers for technical support, quotes, or service calls.

  • Train users on the proper maintenance of their tools and equipment when required.

  • Organize the maintenance department following 5S principles.

  • Establish and maintain equipment repair records.

  • Set up and keep up to date the spare parts lists for the various equipment.

  • Manage the spare parts inventory (Kanban).

  • Prepare purchase requisitions.

  • Ensure daily follow-up of repair/modification/maintenance requests entered in the request file.

  • Actively participate in the implementation and optimization of machine safety.

  • Participate in various installations or continuous improvement project.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Provide technical support outside of working hours in case of emergency.

  • Put away tools and equipment, and keep his work area clean

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: DVS in Automated Systems Electromechanics

Experience: Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in HVAC is an asset.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite

Certificates & Licenses: None required

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.

  • Experience with automation systems and basic programming.

  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions in the workplace.

  • Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and heightened vigilance.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.

  • Execute tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
