Senior Specialist, Site EHS

The Role: 

• This role is responsible for implementing and continuously improving EHS systems and programs at Japan-Geino plant to achieve full compliance with all applicable regulations and Entegris Corporate EHS requirements.  

• This individual will function as part of Japan EHS Team to work collaboratively with all department supervisor/ manager to identify, prevent and resolve potential EHS issues.  

• This position is located at Geino.

In this role you will: 

• Maintain compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations. 

• Work with site leaders to implement Japan EHS regulatory requirement and Entegris Corporate EHS requirements.   

• Proactively drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and programs at the plant. 

• Drive improvements in organizational EHS culture. 

• Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans. 

• Organize site employee EHS training,  

• Execute ISO14001/ 45001/ RBA/ FM system requirements.  

• Conduct EHS committee meeting, Gemba Walk, 6S patrol, Emergency Evacuation Drills, EHS promotional activities 

• Conduct Industrial Hygiene Monitoring 

• Works with site project teams on new projects at the site   

• Maintain EHS records.

• ISO14001／45001、RBA、FMの要件を運用する 

• EHS委員会、Gemba Walk、6Sパトロール、避難訓練、啓発活動を実施する 

• 作業環境測定（Industrial Hygiene Monitoring）を実施する 

• 新規プロジェクトにおいてプロジェクトチームと連携する 

• EHS関連記録を管理する 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• Appropriate country EHS qualification/certifications, such as chemical manager license, hygiene manager license, fire manager license and special waste manager license 

• Bachelor/ Degree in Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline 

• 5+ years' experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies 

• Compliance experience with EHS regulations, ISO14001 & 45001, RBA, customer audit, etc 

• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships 

• Knowledge of JSA/RA, LOTO, Chemical Handlings and Safe Work Permit 

• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office; 

• Written and verbal communication skills in English. 

• 化学管理者、衛生管理者、防火管理者、特別管理産業廃棄物管理責任者など、国内EHS関連資格 

• 安全、環境、電気、機械、化学工学など関連分野の学士号 

• 多国籍企業でのEHSコンプライアンス／プログラム管理経験5年以上 

• EHS法規、ISO14001/45001、RBA、顧客監査対応の経験 

• 信頼関係を構築し、良好かつプロフェッショナルな関係を維持する能力 

• JSA/RA、LOTO、化学物質取扱い、安全作業許可の知識 

• MS Officeを含む基本的なPCスキル 

• 英語での読み書き・会話能力
