Technical Support Engineer - MRO

Job Summary:

Is responsible for managing and executing technical support activities related to inspection, maintenance, and overhaul of aero engines. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing repair schemes, troubleshooting engine issues, and supporting production teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of overhauled engines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and review Engine Shop Visit Workscopes based on customer requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair tasks comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review task cards, routing sheets, technical reports, service bulletins, technical orders, and engineering authorizations based on approved workscope.
• Translate complex technical inputs into clear, actionable maintenance instructions.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through repair optimization and tooling requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, supply chain, production, and customer support.
• Liaise with OEMs, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 5 - 7 years of experience in aero engine MRO or related aviation engineering field.

• Strong knowledge of Gas Turbine engine theory and aviation maintenance regulations and documentation.
• Deep understanding of component level engine repairs and inspections.
• Experience with Technical publications, AMM, CMMs, ESMs and OEM repair documentation.
• Proficiency with tools like SAP, AMOS or equivalent systems.
• Hands-on experience with various engine types is a plus.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, etc.)
• Ability and adaptability to work in a global cross-functional team
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
• Attention to detail with strong technical writing and documentation skills.
