Summary:

Repairs, maintains and performs preventative maintenance duties on building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and similar mechanical systems; assists with general maintenance activities such as electrical, carpentry, grounds, etc. as needed.

The starting annual salary range of this position is $59,787-$65,205 and this can include a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time heating, ventilation and air conditioning experience under a journey-level HVAC mechanic, equivalent to training provided in an apprenticeship program.

NOTE:
1. Apprenticeship training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning mechanics or training gained by the completion of technical courses in heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanics at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services may be substituted for the above training on a year for year basis.
2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
