Job Description
As an Agent – Connections Commissioning, you will manage the planning, strategy, coordination and delivery activities for the connection of each new tunnel section. You will produce robust strategies for multi-site connections, manage stakeholder engagement with the asset owner, coordinate outage planning, ensure installation works are delivered to specification, commissioning and handover activities. Key Responsibilities • Develop the end-to-end strategy for connecting new siphons to existing siphon infrastructure. • Gather requirements from all stakeholders and ensure compliance across the design and work. • Produce detailed multi-site plans, identifying dependencies, risks, resourcing and commissioning requirements. • Map interfaces across civil, mechanical, electrical, tunnel, utilities and operational stakeholders. • Support with developing the delivery strategy. • Manage the construction of new siphon sections across multiple project sites, including civils interfaces and alignment tolerances required for future connection. • Ensure construction sequencing aligns with the downstream connection and commissioning strategy. • Engage early with design and construction teams to ensure siphons and tunnel sections are “commission-ready”. • Capturing and managing all data required for certification of the assets at handover. • Work closely with the asset owner to understand and secure restricted annual outage windows. • Plan connections precisely to these outage windows, ensuring all enabling works are completed beforehand. • Facilitate approvals, permits, isolation requirements and shutdown/start-up procedures with the asset owner. • Develop plans for all pre-connection activities, in line with Contractual and asset owner requirements. • Develop plans post connection works, ensuring all new assets can be certified and handed over. • Coordinate independent testing, commissioning records and certification. • Coordinate all subcontractors and specialist commissioning teams. • Prepare all commissioning, testing and connection documentation for Operational Readiness and Final Handover. • Maintain as-built records, test certificates, safety documentation and handover files. • Ensure all works comply with asset owner standards, regulatory requirements and internal QA systems.
