Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Job Profile Summary:
Monitors outreach/recruitment plans based on enrollment goals, organizes events, develops partnerships with external community-based organizations and represents the institution to prospective students.

Job Description:

Position Salary Range: $48,600 - $55,000 per year; DOE

Under general direction, represents the schools in activities which broaden the base of prospective students, through various individual contacts to generate and develop new student leads interested in enrolling in a Master's program; qualifies prospective students according to given program criteria, and maintains communication with admitted students to retain interest in the programs for the purpose of increasing enrollment.

Essential Duties:

  • Works to generate student leads interested in Master's programs through various face-to-face, phone, and online venues, providing program benefits and admissions requirements.

  • Maintains effective communication with prospective students regarding degree programs.

  • Manages prospective students and recruitment pipelines by maintaining extensive contacts; monitoring application progress from start to completion, identifying and resolving problems, and conducting student-related internal meetings. (Maintains an applicant management system to track new information on prospective students.

  • Qualifies prospective students through program enrollment requirements and admissions.

  • Maintains admitted students' interest in platforms and student-corporate relationships throughout program enrollment.

  • Assists the Director in identifying market trends that could potentially affect recruiting strategies.

  • Represents the program through various presentations and attended activities such as college fairs and community engagement opportunities.

  • Regularly meets with school(s) support staff to ensure recruitment efforts are meeting the current needs of the programs.

  • Coordinates and may assist in creating internal and external communications to new student leads, prospective students, and admitted students via letters, articles, newsletter support, phone, and email interactions.

  • Plans and coordinates on and off-campus recruitment programs for prospective students.

  • Disseminates information to prospective students (i.e., admissions and financial aid applications).

  • Coordinates the processing of admissions applications for prospective students with the Graduate College.

  • Collaborates with the Director on marketing/sales projects, sales proposals, creative initiatives, and updates on the required marketing/sales project(s) needs.

  • Acts as a school(s) and program representative for various ASU internal and external groups.

  • Graduate degree in a related field.

  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge in marketing and student recruitment, particularly within higher education.

  • Experience developing and executing strategic outreach initiatives.

  • Experience in analyzing market trends.

  • Effectively communicating the value of degree programs to audiences.

  • Experience in building relationships with prospective students.

  • Experience managing recruitment pipelines and leveraging digital marketing tools.

  • Experience utilizing CRM tools for the purpose of tracking data.

  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting with audiences.

Working Environment:

  • Requires flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend hours to support events, information sessions, and prospective student engagement.

  • Travel is expected for recruitment fairs, conferences, and partnership development.

  • Regular driving and transportation to off-campus events and outreach activities.

  • Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position. 

  • Regular use of a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. 

  • Ability to clearly communicate and exchange accurate information to perform essential duties. 

  • Expected to be responsive to customers; engaged in work production; and resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.
