Join our team in Amangiri. Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. A serene sanctuary, Amangiri’s 34 modernist suites, Aman Spa and mesa-embracing pool echo the tranquillity of the canyons. Camp Sarika, with its 10 tented pavilions, answers the region’s call to adventure. Role
As Lead Server, you will Reporting to the Food and Beverage Leadership Team, and will play a key role in delivering seamless dining experiences while guiding and supporting the Service team. This hands-on position requires a strong commitment to excellence, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, team coordination, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dining service operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service flow.
- Support the onboarding and training of new colleagues, guiding them to meet established service standards.
- Lead by example, maintaining Aman Seva and LQA standards at all times.
- Prepare dining areas and service stations in line with each meal period.
- Provide attentive and personalised service, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Communicate guest preferences, dietary requirements, and special requests effectively.
- Monitor the dining room to ensure all guests are attended to and service standards are upheld.
- Assist with service execution including food running, table clearing, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Support special events, opening and closing procedures, and overall operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a dining room or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.
- Experience with Micros or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Proven experience supporting training and development of service teams.
- Solid understanding of dining room and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding LQA and Aman service standards.
- TIPS and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
- You must have the legal right to work in the United States.
