Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 12-Hour Night Shift Rotation
📍 Surry County Jail | North Carolina
⏰ 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Schedule (Includes Every Other Weekend)

Job Description
As an LPN in this setting, you’ll deliver patient care with confidence and independence while collaborating with a supportive medical team. Your night will include:
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to medical needs
- Assisting with sick call and chronic care clinics
- Performing intake screenings and health assessments
- Maintaining accurate documentation and medical records
- Collaborating with RNs, providers, and custody staff to ensure continuity of care
This is a fast-paced environment where your skills stay sharp and your impact is immediate.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend
- Correctional or related nursing experience preferred, but not required
