Position Overview:
Position is an integral part of RGA Reinsurance Group of America. Within the Real Estate Investments team, this QA BI Testing Analyst position is responsible for all aspects of QA and testing related to the Loan Management Core system as well as the Reporting Analytics environment that supports the full life cycle of Commercial Mortgage Loans. The QA BI Testing Analyst, under limited supervision will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases, utilizing a variety of tools to ensure the Real Estate systems are working as designed. The position will liaison and support the user acceptance testing group, supporting with triage, diagnosis and resolution of issues discovered.
This position resides in local Chesterfield and enjoys a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Develop unit, system, and regression test plans, and effective strategies to allow for shorter and more frequent test cycles.
Develop and execute test plans for each type of reporting tool including SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerQuery and Cube testing to ensure output meets user requirements.
Design and development of test plans in support of all reporting requests following standard SDLC processes and iterative development cycles.
Support and execute User Acceptance Test cases working closely with Servicing and Asset Management teams to assist in completing User Acceptance Testing.
Support end to end testing of reporting data mart to ensure transformations of data meet end user requests.
Develop performance testing plans to speed up end user experience on reporting tools.
Create QA and testing artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Matrix, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Results) and functional documentations.
Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Assist with triage, diagnosis and resolution of issues discovered by Real Estate Business areas throughout User Acceptance.
Participate in special projects, providing testing data analytics as needed in support of end business users in real estate.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Equivalent related work experience
3+ years in QA Testing
3+ years in Business Intelligence and data warehousing areas
3+ years in programming and system analysis
3+ years using SQL Server
Preferred:
Working knowledge of SDLC process and Agile methodology
Working knowledge of Testing tools and Testing Methodologies
Experience in Commercial Real Estate Finance
Working knowledge of Loan Management Systems
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required:
Strong detailed analysis skills when troubleshooting bugs.
Strong business process flow knowledge
Strong written documentation skills focusing on testing guides to streamline test cases.
Intermediate SQL/Query Skills
Intermediate Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools including SSRS (Report Builder), Tableau, and Power BI
Intermediate Knowledge of SharePoint, Visio & Microsoft Access
Intermediate Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Intermediate level of investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Intermediate level of people management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead, mentor, and develop associates; including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility.
Strong oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received.
Advanced ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
Broad business knowledge, including knowledge of investments and\or financial lending.

Compensation Range:
$78,080.00 - $110,860.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
