A Brief Overview
The Associate, Investment Reporting Operations is an entry-level role designed for candidates who are early in their investment operations or finance career and eager to build foundational knowledge in institutional investment reporting. Working under close direction from a Director or Senior Analyst, the Associate supports the daily production of investment reports across assigned channels — including data input gathering, template population, validation support, and delivery coordination.
This role offers a structured entry point into the investment reporting function within one of the world's largest reinsurance organizations. Associates are expected to bring attention to detail, analytical curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn — progressively building toward independent reporting ownership as they develop proficiency across RGA's reporting channels and governance standards.
What you will do
- Support the production of assigned investment reporting outputs under supervision by gathering data inputs, populating report templates, and organizing materials for review.
- Assist with data input validation by comparing reporting data to source systems and flagging discrepancies to Senior Analysts or Directors.
- Support performance reporting preparation by gathering required data and populating templates accurately and consistently.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and due diligence data requests by collecting inputs, organizing materials, and tracking request status.
- Support preparation of CIO presentation materials and Q&A documentation by assembling accurate data inputs as directed.
- Execute assigned daily reporting controls, including validation checklists, delivery confirmation tasks, and documentation maintenance.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and audit‑ready records of reporting tasks completed, issues identified, and escalations made.
- Escalate data inconsistencies, reporting discrepancies, or governance questions promptly to Senior Analysts or Directors.
- Actively participate in training and on‑the‑job learning to build foundational knowledge of investment reporting channels, data flows, and governance standards.
- Contribute positively to team operations by being reliable, detail‑oriented, collaborative, and responsive to ad hoc reporting support needs.
