Line Cook (Closing Shift) – Gillette Ridge Golf Club
Gillette Ridge Golf Club is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our team for closing shifts. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food while maintaining strong standards through the end of service.
As a closing Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in executing menu items consistently, keeping the kitchen organized, and ensuring all closing duties are completed thoroughly to set the team up for success the next day.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout service
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portioning
- Assist with stocking and prep for service as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Complete all closing duties, including cleaning equipment, breaking down stations, labeling/storing food, and securing the kitchen
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable and able to work evening and closing shifts
- Comfortable working in a high-temperature kitchen environment
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
