DePuy-Synthes, part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Project Manager, Supply Chain as part of the Trauma & Extremities Supply Chain Strategy, Innovation and Deployment (SI&D) team, to be located in Zuchwil, Switzerland.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring implementation and flawless execution of Trauma & Extremities Supply Chain initiatives and projects. This individual will be a key participant in the development and deployment of a new DePuy Synthes Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

 

Principal Roles and Responsibilities  

• Lead cross-functional teams in the actual implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives. 

• Ensure effective Project Management of all key strategic projects – with appropriate process controls, metrics, and stakeholder updates. Partner closely with SMEs and workstream / project leads to ensure planning and tracking is in place for all projects.

• Manage initiatives effectively, timely, and on budget while minimizing any impact to base business, customer service and employee engagement.

• Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality, and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfy outcomes.

• Develop and revise project plans, work with stakeholders to understand complex problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to meet timelines.

• Keep manager and key project stakeholders updated on project issues, issue resolution, risks and overall status of project.

• Ensure local change management and commitment to the project goals is in place at each impacted site and function.

• Sets the standard for timeliness, work ethic, and personal integrity.

 

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field highly preferred; Advanced degree such as a M.S. or MBA a plus

• A minimum of 5 years of related experience required

• Project management experience required

• Working knowledge of Medical Device system requirements

• Experience in the implementation of product lifecycle changes

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bridging technical and business disciplines, evaluating and determining appropriate risks required

• Up to 10% of travel both domestically and internationally is required
