Consignment inventory, location to location moves, & inventory adjustments.
Assists in the cycle counting process as requested.
Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks or within the facility.
Responsible for the ongoing inventory accuracy of the facility. Notifies one of the following: Inventory Control, Receiving Lead & Receiving Supervisor when material control issues are discovered.
Works with Inventory Control & Lead(s) during investigations of quality issues, inventory issues, shipping complaints and process improvements. Works as part of the Distribution team to ensure all requested material transfers are completed accurately in a timely manner.
Transfers, transports and stages materials in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains warehouse documentation and other related records.
Participates in the continuous improvement of the distribution department.
Communication of job status between shifts and continuation of work in progress.
Quickly and effectively shifts gears to meet changing business requirements.
Helps establish continuous improvement processes that result in the most effective use of all
resources, reducing costs, and improving quality.
Other duties may be assigned.
