About you
Skills and Qualifications:
- Provide Follow‑the‑Sun (FTS) incident management support for SAP systems, ensuring rapid service restoration.
- Maintain system integrity, availability, and operational controls across SAP RISE landscapes.
- Coordinate and execute cross‑functional technical activities, including outages, upgrades, and infrastructure changes (DB, OS, HW).
- Lead and support SAP Basis administration activities, including system builds, configurations, monitoring, and housekeeping.
- Implement and manage system monitoring, alerting, proactive health checks, and capacity monitoring (CPU, memory, disk, spool).
- Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, DR, and cyber recovery tests within SAP RISE.
- Analyze and resolve performance and technical issues, including EarlyWatch findings and problem management.
- Produce and maintain SAP Basis standards and technical documentation.
- Build and test Proof of Concept (PoC) systems following SAP RISE best practices.
- Provide stakeholder reporting, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog management.
- Deliver on‑call rotational support during off‑hours and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA Database administration.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stacks (ECC, S/4HANA).
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Technical Monitoring, CALM.
- SAP RISE.
- SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Operating system and database-level support for SAP environments.
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Shell scripting).
- Strong incident, problem, and change management experience.
- Strong experience with SAP Basis experience in enterprise-scale environments.
