This is a sales role with primary responsibility being to manage a territory and generate sales from assigned set of customers. Additionally, the candidate is expected to learn and utilize solution selling, territory management, and business planning capabilities to establish relationships and maximize sales performance within the assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales Performance
Meet overall sales objectives (quota) both overall and for key growth products through demand generation within targeted geography.
Successfully launch new product and service offerings.
Demonstrate success in other key sales metrics such as call average, coverage, time on field and product growth rate objectives
Solution Selling Skills, Technical Knowledge, and Customer Value Delivery
Demonstrate the ability to learn and execute Solution Selling capabilities.
Build and demonstrate technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and understand veterinary practice.
Establish relationships with and service all targeted hospitals / personnel to maintain and grow relevance and access within each account.
Interact with customers following all Zoetis promotional guidelines.
Territory Management and Teamwork
Effectively execute a call-cycle at the account and veterinarian level that delivers our reach / frequency expectations.
Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan / Resource Allocation per our expectations – effectively implementing the full complement of Zoetis resources and following up to maximize ROI.
Responsible for distribution of Zoetis products to customers by managing distributors. Accountable for accounts receivables from distributors.

Education & Experience
Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, Lifesciences
Animal Health or other industry related experience preferred
Follow-through and attention to detail
Professional demeanor and presentation style
Focused and results oriented, able to identify goals and priorities and resolve issues in initial stages
Willingness to work independently and in a close team environment, self-starter
Exhibit willingness to accept and incorporate feedback
2-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
Technical Skills Requirements
Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful / fair decisions based on relevant information
Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems)
Physical Position Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel to out stations and ex-stations to meet customers based on customer visit cycle.
