We are seeking motivated and compassionate EMT-Basics to join our EMS team providing both emergent and non-emergent interfacility transports (IFTs) across South Texas. Key Responsibilities
-
Provide basic emergency medical care and first aid within EMT-B scope of practice
-
Safely operate ambulances in emergency and non-emergency conditions
-
Assist paramedics and healthcare providers during patient care and transport
-
Perform patient assessment and report findings accurately
-
Safely move, immobilize, and transport patients
-
Maintain accurate ePCR documentation
-
Clean, restock, and disinfect ambulances and equipment after each transport
-
Ensure vehicle readiness and report maintenance or equipment issues
-
Follow all EMS protocols, safety standards, and clinical guidelines
-
Participate in ongoing training and skills development

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
-
Current Texas EMT certification

Current BLS certification
-
Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record

Ability to meet physical demands of the role
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs (up to 300 lbs with assistance)

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
-
Ability to work in high-stress environments including loud noises, low light, extreme weather, and confined spaces
Compensation
-
$17.00 - $21.50 per hour
