Essential Responsibilities
-
Provide advanced prehospital patient care and emergency medical treatment
-
Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
-
Safely operate ambulances during emergency and non-emergency responses
-
Communicate effectively with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and first responders
-
Utilize advanced life support equipment and monitoring devices
-
Complete accurate electronic patient care reports (ePCR)
-
Maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
-
Adhere to company policies, clinical protocols, and safety standards
-
Participate in ongoing education and training
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Current Texas DSHS Paramedic Certification
-
Current BLS Certification
-
Current ACLS Certification
-
PALS Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
-
Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
-
IBSC Certification
-
Previous 911 or critical care transport experience
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 150 pounds independently and up to 300 pounds with assistance

Ability to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces

Ability to perform duties in varying weather conditions and high-stress environments
