Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone for our analytical service laboratory at our Bruchsal location. Our business model includes providing comprehensive technical support to our customers to ensure the highest quality when using our products. Your responsibilities will include managing laboratory operations and assisting our sales team, our technical field staff, and our customers with technical inquiries.
What will you be doing?
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team. The position is based on-site, and the successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing laboratory operations, including supervising the laboratory staff.
In addition, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Reporting to and communicating with company management in Germany and the corporate headquarters in the U.S.
· Development, implementation, and validation of analytical methods, including the necessary documentation.
· Communication with customers, technical staff, and sales representatives in our European sales regions.
· Advising and supporting technicians and laboratory staff on complex chemical and physical issues.
· Scientific exchange and communication with other laboratories within our group as well as with external laboratories in Europe and worldwide.
· Independent investigations that go beyond routine laboratory analyses. You will assist with or conduct physical examinations of printed circuit boards and address more complex analytical problems involving our customers’ products and samples.
Who are You?

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, engineering) or equivalent experience.

Prior laboratory experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
What competencies will you need?
To be successful in this position, you must hold a degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.), Chemical Engineering (M.Sc.), or Chemical Technology, preferably with a focus on physical chemistry or electrochemistry. In addition, you ideally have experience in the field of printed circuit board technology and/or electroplating.
Experience in analytical chemistry, including traditional wet chemistry and instrumental methods such as IC, HPLC, ICP-OES, electroanalytics (CVS), X-ray fluorescence, and SEM/EDX, is required.
You will communicate with colleagues in both English and German, so you should be fluent in both languages. In addition, you should possess the skills and empathy to interact effectively with employees and customers, be team-oriented and act responsibly, and have a hands-on approach.
