Job Summary

The position monitors product performance using quantitative analysis while providing actionable insights and enhancements to strategies. The position evaluates financial performance and adjusts strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and growth targets.

Essential Job Functions

· Utilize fundamental and quantitative analysis across numerous personal lines products.

· Communicate and present key metrics and recommended product strategies to leadership.

· Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by leader and may be responsible for providing business requirements to IT.

· Develops long and short-term plans for their assigned product or strategy.

· Manages the analysis and research performed in the development of new strategies.

· Stays abreast of industry developments.

· Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

· High School Diploma or Equivalent High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Bachelor’s degree in mathematical or statistical field preferred.

· Masters degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

Four years experience in similar role or one year in Senior Product Analyst role.

Salary Grade Level

· This position will have a salary grade range based on relevant experience.

· Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function.

· Salary grade will be based on selected candidates' experience and skills.

Special Skill Requirement

· PC Skills, including Excel, PowerBI, Power Point, Access, SAS, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes.

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including ability to make effective presentations.

· Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn advanced insurance pricing concepts and insurance terms and structure.

· Ability to manage workflows and set appropriate goals and milestones

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment with occasional exposure to uncontrolled outside environmental conditions.

Physical Actions

Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation. Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions. Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift. Occasionally moves about the workplace including, navigating stairs, ramps, and level or uneven surfaces. Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties. Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift. Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees. Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information. Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects. Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace. Jobs in this category require rare, if any, travel.
