Job Summary: To facilitate disposition (return, dispose or otherwise) of customer owned or supplied tools, equipment (assets), material, components, data files, quality records and retain/reference samples
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run reports to determine Obsolete programs and their related tooling and inventory
- Prepare obsolescence worksheets
- Gather details and request quotes for non-moving materials
- Work with multiple departments to gather complete product details and inventory:
- Purchasing
- Manufacturing Engineers
- Quality
- Tool Room
- Warehouse
- Doc Control
- Estimating
- Customer Service
- Utilize IQMS, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Update documented procedures for obsolete tooling
- Other projects as identified
ADA Requirements:
- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
- Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
