Job Description
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for supervising Stellantis Medical Operations Nursing staff under the leadership of the Clinical Manager and Medical Operations Manager. The Nursing Supervisor will provide Nursing oversight at 16 US plant medical clinics. This position oversees day‑to‑day nursing services, ensuring compliance with Stellantis policies, the Medical Operations Scope of Services, applicable federal and state regulations, and professional standards. This role directly supervises assigned Nursing staff through feedback, communication, coaching, and performance evaluation to ensure high‑quality Occupational Health care and staff development. The Nursing Supervisor functions as the first resource for Nursing and clinical issues and works with the Union to respectfully discuss and resolve issues. Within this role, the Nursing Supervisor will facilitate and build relationships with HR, Benefits, Safety, Security, and Labor Relations to strengthen health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee RN scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all US plant medicals and shifts
- Responsible to ensure accurate payroll reporting, approve time worked and resolve discrepancies
- Demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including documentation review and workflow oversight
- Facilitate Nursing orientation & onboarding activities
- Participate in corrective action, counseling, and professional development activities as needed
- Coordinate annual training programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Support and facilitate operational changes across US Medicals
- Conduct and coordinate audits of medical documentation, medical surveillance exams, and compliance with administrative policies at each plant medical
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to support standardized delivery of Occupational Health care
- Serve as the Medical Operations lead for the Rapid Action Volunteer Program, training volunteers in emergency recognition, hands only CPR, and bloodborne pathogen safety
- Participate in local US Nursing union negotiations
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet evolving organizational needs
