Job Description
I. Purpose of the Job
The Global Finance Partner - FP&A plays a key role in developing and maturing the global Cost by Function (CbF) model, enabling stronger cost control, improved transparency, and high‑quality financial insights across all functions and business units.
This role supports the creation of a centralized, automated, and AI‑enabled cost by function model, ensuring consistency, improved data quality, and reliable outputs for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
II. Roles and Responsibilities
1. Functional Controlling & CbF Model Support
- Support the design, improvement, and maintenance of the unified data model (cost centers, functions, activities).
- Ensure accurate application of definitions across Finance, HR, Procurement, T&I, SHE, Quality, Strategy, etc.
- Coordinate with the central team and functional owners to apply activity-based splits and refined functional definitions.
2. Data Quality, Validation & Governance
- Implement and monitor automated validation checks.
- Manage and follow up on data quality, ensuring timely resolution and clear ownership in case of data quality issues.
- Support a standardized, uniform way of working, enabling economies of scale and consistency across the organization.
3. Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Support development and continuous improvement of self-service dashboards (cost by function, trends, variances).
- Ensure drill-down capability to more detailed levels when relevant.
- Need for close cooperation and interaction with local controlling teams to analyze actual performance, drive for corrections and identify improvement opportunities
- Support/Drive the planning processes for functions under scope, including process improvement
- Deliver insights that directly support FBPs, Corporate Finance, Business Units, and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the model provides ready-for-analysis outputs to enable predictable and high‑quality financial planning.
4. Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Actively support the transformation roadmap for 2026–2027 and beyond.
- Collaborate with the team on quick wins, medium‑term improvements, and long‑term automation initiatives.
III. Skills & Competencies
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or financial analytics.
- Strong understanding of cost allocation, management reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Experience with modern finance tools such as SAP S/4HANA, SAC, or comparable systems.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions, BUs, and Corporate Finance.
- Proactive, structured, and able to work in a hybrid global team.

- Ability to work with AI-enabled reporting tools and contribute to process automation.
