Summary

RNDC is looking for an Innovative and Energetic Office Manager I. This position is responsible for the overall management of the daily and monthly procedures of the branch by performing the following duties

In this role, you will

  • Assures branch’s full compliance with all policies, procedures and ABC regulations. 
  • Provides customer service to customers by researches customer requests, inquiries and complaints regarding invoicing, customer un-saleables and return authorizations. 
  • Assists with updating expired customer permits, and the verification of customer release from states list filing. Interacts with various levels of management, vendors, and employees. Assists in staffing, tracking of employment applications/resumes, sending applicants for pre-employment physicals/drug tests and provides orientation to new employees. 
  • Ensures new employees complete required paperwork. Reviews and maintains branch time and attendance records. 
  • Ensure timely processing of worker’s compensation claims, evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness before sending the Human Resource Department. 
  • Responsible for delivery driver’s check-ins, reconciling all monies collected to invoices delivered. Responsible for daily bank deposits, tracking missing invoices, collecting for COD short pays. 
  • Some positions may supervise one or more clerks and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

What you bring to RNDC

One year certificate from college or technical school preferred; three or more related experience, of which two to three years accounting or office management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of QuickBooks is also preferred.
