Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Direct the daily operations of a revenue unit or program area, ensuring consistent compliance with state laws and departmental policies.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal processes to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and customer service.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff, including Revenue Supervisors, Coordinators, and Specialists.
Oversee the collection, reconciliation, and reporting of revenues and fees processed through the unit.
Analyze complex financial data and program performance metrics to support decision-making and resource allocation.
Resolve high-level taxpayer and customer issues, audit findings, or procedural discrepancies involving multiple stakeholders.
Participate in the development of new policies, legislation, or administrative rules related to taxation, revenue collection, or child support services.
Ensure that all operations uphold confidentiality, transparency, and ethical handling of public funds and records.
