Occupational Therapist I
Job Description
Facilitates person centred care by providing an occupational therapy program for assigned residents. Plan, implement, evaluate and document treatment of residents. Teaches and communicates with residents, other healthcare providers, physicians and families. Develop, monitor and review the occupational therapy services in the centre in collaboration with the Centre Management team. Ensures practice is consistent with occupational therapy philosophy. Performs other related duties as required.
Baccalaureate degree or Master's degree in occupational therapy from a recognized university. Must be registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT), and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Alberta Aids to Daily Living Authorizer if required by the program.
