Clinical Assistant, Cancer Center, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary   The Clinical Assistant assists providers by working with the certified medical assistant (CMA) or provider to deliver basic patient care.  Understands basic medical terminology, performs vital signs and basic patient triage, prepares patient charts, completes documentation, completes appropriate electronic health record (EHR) functions, routes phone calls, patient scheduling and re-scheduling, and documents patient requests. Acts as a scribe for the provider when needed.   Essential Functions
