Description:
Reporting to the Director of Business Continuity, the Business Continuity Manager supports the system-wide development, implementation, and sustainment of Baptist Health‘s Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). This role serves as a key facilitator of operational continuity through stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, COOP/BIA development, and regulatory alignment. The Manager partners with hospital and department leaders to build and test executable continuity strategies while driving compliance with ISO 22301 and healthcare accreditation standards. The Manager operationalizes business continuity strategies and leads tactical engagement across departments, ensuring system-wide preparedness and actionable planning for disruptive events. Reporting to the Director of Business Continuity, the Manager also contributes to performance evaluation, exercise planning, and program documentation.

Degrees:
- Masters.
- DRI Certified Business Continuity Professional.
- PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.
- Master‘s degree in Emergency Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or equivalent business continuity certification required within the first year of hire/transfer.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience supporting or leading business continuity or emergency preparedness efforts in a complex healthcare or regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement, develop and maintain Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs) and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), and support accreditation and audit processes.
- Working knowledge of CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule, DNV PE.
- 4, ISO 22301, and Joint Commission standards.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and SharePoint.
