Description:


The Distribution Center Supervisor oversees daily operations within the Distribution center to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of orders and inventory. Supervises all aspects of the Distributions operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of receiving, transportation, logistics and distribution of medical supplies, time-sensitive documents, equipment, and other product needs for the entire health care system. This role involves leading a team of over 50 employees, including several teams leads. The supervisor oversee a 150,000 square foot distribution center that serves multi-site hospital system and outpatient sites throughout Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Ensure safety as top priority in the workplace in accordance with industry regulations including, but not limited to, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), FDA (Food and Drug Administration), and DOT (Department of Transportation). Duties also include the supervision of record retention process which to retrieves, transports and maintains health system records and documents in accordance with policy, legal, financial, governmental, and historical requirements. Estimated salary range for this position is $58494.88 - $76043.34 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications:


Degrees:
  • Associates.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial).
Additional Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration or relevant professional certification.
  • Leadership experience in logistics, transportation and/or Supply chain management in a large-scale business, organization or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP), voice-to- pick or warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or other relevant technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Must be proficient in using computer applications, data & analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
