The Strategic Buyer role at UCT is responsible for leading procurement activities to ensure supply continuity, cost efficiency, and compliance with company standards. This position manages purchase orders, supplier contracts, and inventory processes while driving cost-reduction initiatives and influencing sourcing decisions based on performance, availability, and quality. Acting as a liaison across sourcing, engineering, NPI, and supply chain teams, the Strategic Buyer mentor's execution buyers, leads complex procurement projects, and fosters supplier relationships to improve performance. Through strong negotiation, analytical skills, and process leadership, this role supports UCT’s operational excellence and growth in the semiconductor industry.
