Avista Senior Living is is currently looking for a PART TIME cook to join our team at our community in Ferndale, WA. WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL PART TIME SHIFTS THAT WOULD BE TUESDAY-THURSDAY 1-6PM. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• We are looking for a quality minded professional with previous healthcare or senior living experience
• Knowledge of scratch cooking a definite plus as we look to elevate the expectations of food service
• Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation
• The ability to lead others in appositive way
• An eye for detail

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior Cook experience is highly preferred
• Previous senior living experience
• Strong Communication
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of basic culinary service management
• Food Handler Permit
