Position Overview
The Director of Strategic Finance & Operations serves as a key strategic partner to Global Technical Services leadership, supporting financial planning, operational strategy, workforce planning, executive communications, and organizational performance initiatives across the division.
This role is designed for a high-potential business leader who combines strong financial and analytical capability with strategic thinking, operational awareness, executive presence, and communication skills. The position partners closely with senior leadership to drive data-informed decision-making, operational efficiency, organizational alignment, and long-range strategic planning across a rapidly growing global operation.
This is a highly visible role with direct interaction and exposure to executive leadership within Global Technical Services and offers a strong long-term pathway toward broader operational and executive leadership opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Business Planning
- Lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of annual budgets, forecasting models, and long-range strategic planning initiatives
- Deliver actionable, data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership to improve operational performance, profitability, and decision-making
- Monitor financial performance across all entities and ensure timely, accurate reporting and analysis
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting to support business needs and executive priorities
- Support annual operating plan (AOP) development and organizational forecasting efforts
Operational Strategy & Performance
- Develop and maintain KPI metrics to track operational, financial, and strategic performance against organizational objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with operational leaders to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvement initiatives
- Assist in the development of labor planning strategies and facility-level staffing models to support operational scalability and workforce optimization
- Support strategic initiatives tied to operational growth, infrastructure expansion, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness
- Establish, standardize, and enhance financial and operational processes, procedures, and internal controls across the division
Executive Communications & Organizational Support
- Develop executive-level presentations, business reviews, reporting materials, and strategic communications for senior leadership
- Translate operational and financial data into clear business narratives and recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Support leadership alignment and organizational communication efforts across Global Technical Services
- Assist with special projects, executive initiatives, and cross-functional business transformation efforts as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required
- MBA preferred but not required
- 3–8+ years of experience in strategic finance, consulting, operational finance, business strategy, FP&A, investment banking, or related analytical/business operations environment
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, ERP systems, or business intelligence/reporting tools preferred
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Ability to synthesize complex operational and financial information into strategic recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growth-oriented environment
